It was a crazy, yet beautiful, month. Summer is always a good time around here. We are all home together, and that's the best part really. To say the truth, I probably have more than a thousand pictures of last month...yup that's me and my overloaded photo folders! It's not that bad really, but it takes a bit of time to organize my hundreds of pictures, so by the time I want to post about my weekend or whatever else, it's like a month overdue. literally! This summer we've stayed around most of the time and that was all good. It gave us the flexibility and time to have lots of people over for BBQs, picnics, fireworks, birthdays....God has given us a great backyard (thanks to mom and dad for all their hard work), so might has well use it well before winter starts again. As you might know there are lots and lots of refugees, mostly Syrians, that arrived in Canada in the last year or so. We've been blessed to meet so many of them, which is one of the thing that has kept us quite busy over the summer. Lots of them came over, which as been a great blessing to our family. It's amazing to know some of their stories how they managed to be here, their lives in refugee camps etc. In the middle of all of our busyness, I have to say that something not that fun happened...so we went at Fundy Park during a weekend soon after I arrived from Australia. At the end of the day, after walking like 6k, I sprained my ankle. For at least three weeks I was on crutches, and as you might know..it's really difficult to get around!! That's all over now, thankfully:-)
September----So at the moment, I'm working full-time, enjoying the last few weeks of summer, and also...planning on opening an online business! It's still "under construction" though, but when I get more things done I'll post more about it. Stay tuned!
Our family's favorites:
During evenings, our best family memories are always just chilling at a park, by the water, or at Gojis (actually really true!) We are their favorite customers! shhh We spent two days doing geocaching, which was really fun. It made us to travel at some spots we've never been at before, even not that far from home. We saw lots of abandoned houses, churches, and we ended up in some roads actually not quite dedicated for cars..oops! They were really for like off roads vehicules, but with our Honda Accord...well you know:-) There's more pictures on my travel blog (HERE) .
Love these two pictures! Really shows geocaching in action.
That's all for today. I hope that your last days of summer are going to be good.
