Let the light shine.

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." Mat 5:15

I was once walking on a bridge during a wonderful sunny day with my friends, and as I looked at the water I noticed something that was written on the railing that made me smile. In big letters, it was written "God is love". At that moment, I wondered how many people saw it during the day-probably hundreds I suppose. 

What I've learned is that, someone was willing to publicly say to the world who they believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is, what His character's like. It really hit me. Would I be willing, not only to write it on a bridge for example, but also show it to the world what He means to me by what I do and say? It's so important for us to carry daily the message of the Gospel to others, whether it's by our words, our actions, our testimony etc. Just to have a great attitude towards life, it can show to others that we accept whatever God sends our way. No matter what happens,  there's still something to be thankful for and smile about. By our testimony, it can be a blessing in other's around us. We should not be ashamed of who we live for, He is the Creator of the world. May the light in our life shine bright for Him.
