At this moment I'm enjoying a great strawberry-banana smoothie at Starbucks.☺As I take a short glance around, it amazes me to think that everyone around was created by God for a specific goal. It's a simple thought, but I found it totally astonishing! God created, all of us, for a definite purpose.
This week, I would like to consider the
importance to realize, as individuals, the purpose of our life, which God
established in each of our hearts. In us, there’s the tendency
to do whatever we want whenever, for our own pleasures and desires… but at the
end what will it profit? One day, we will all be accountable to God for the
deeds which we did while on earth. (2 Cor 5:10) Shouldn’t we be thrived that we
have the strength in us, given by God, to do what He wants us to be and do, as
well as the privilege to have a relationship with Him.
All around us, in the world which
we live in, it’s sad when we consider that there's individuals that rather
“waste” their life doing practically nothing, or in other words nothing productive
or worthwhile, in order to satisfy their flesh. It’s not my job to judge,
because I was once at such a point in my life, but just imagine living an entire
life, day by day, without knowing the reason you were placed in the world. What
a desperate feeling must it be! I wonder
sometimes how the world would be if everyone would be living purposely, with a
vision. But what if we, as Christians, would live our life different from what a
large portion of the society says. To live with a purpose might sound complicated and “just another option to live your life”, but it
isn’t really…if the true meaning of it is made clear. It basically says it all-to live with a purpose, purposely. In life there are many decisions. They could
be small, insignificant or life-changing decisions. We have the responsibility
in our hands how we’re going to deal with all of them. To live with a purpose,
we need to constantly seek God’s plan for our life. The Lord knows exactly what's ahead. We shouldn't be worried, but rather trust Him that He will do what He promised us.
Let's live each day with a vision!
