The Real thing

''There is a spot on the map where God is asking you to do
what He called you to be.''

Looking for a Blank World Map? Printable World Maps to Use in Class @Chelsea Elam or this one would work. I want to do it too and put it in my living room.
''We all want to do great things in this world, but everyone is called to do something different than its neighbor.'' If we were to to all the same thing...imagine how life would be meaningless and so plain. Everyone have ambitions and dreams, but the most important one- all of us have a purpose.

Any service for the Lord really starts locally. Whenever missionary work is mentioned we think of a far away land, but it could be in someone's own backyard. For many it looks so easy...to hop on a plane, then fly and arrived in a dream land and just settle down. Well, not really . There's something about going n a foreign land with a return ticket, but something else with only a one way ticket. There is something really important that every one of us needs to understand when it comes to the service of the Lord. We need to be ready and willing to do the smaller things faithfully for Him first, in order for the Lord to give us bigger things to do for Him. Luke 16:10 says: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

During my early teenage years, I oftentimes thought  how  fun and exciting it would be to go in a Third world country and start an orphanage with many kids, to be a teacher to street children, and help in a medical clinic helping those with health problems. In my mind I thought that it could not be that much of a work, and not very hard...after all, living without electricity current  and accessible water for a few day, just feels like camping doesn't it?! Well, to tell you the truth I still have all of that in my heart, but in a different  perspective now. It's not easy. It's heartbreaking and exhausting at some time. With the little that I had experience-which is possibly a minuscule portion compared to many people on the mission field-my perspective changed, but not my vision though. I just learned that it would not be that easy after all, but that's okay because God promised us that he would not leave us. He is with us every step of the way.- Isaiah 41:10. God tells us: ''You want to go with faith?...just trust me.'' To be around and to live with people with various needs, orphans who begs you to bring them to Canada, mothers who struggle to work for their children in order to pay for their education...and even more their daily food. I 've seen it. It's hard and heartbreaking to think that we can't help all of them, fix all of their broken hearts. But it starts with one. It starts with one people at a time, one need, which brings one hope. What if everyone would start with one? It could change a lot. Lets me ready to do what God wants us to do, what He called us to be. One individual at a time.
